Creating an impact beyond business.​

As part of Best World’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve and creating meaningful impact through purposeful partnerships and community initiatives.

During the BWL Oceania Regional Convention 2026 in Melbourne, Australia, our Deputy CEO, Mr Huang Ban Chin, had the honour of presenting an AUD10,000 donation to The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation in support of children and families receiving care at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

As part of this meaningful initiative, our team also had the privilege of touring The Royal Children’s Hospital to learn more about the incredible work they do in caring for children and supporting their families. The visit provided us with a deeper understanding of how contributions like ours can help support the hospital’s efforts and create a positive impact in the community.

We sincerely thank The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful cause, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible. Together, we can continue to create a brighter future for children and families in need.

Across two sessions at Joo Chiat, our team volunteered with Willing Hearts Soup Kitchen to prepare and pack meals, serving the underprivileged and reinforcing our commitment to care and compassion.

Through these initiatives, we continue to empower our community and inspire meaningful change together.

This winter, BWL launched the “Warming Hearts Through Love” initiative with a donation of NT$300,000 to support the Hong Dao Senior Citizens’ Welfare Foundation’s winter weather assistance programme for seniors. The campaign also extends warmth into the Taipei Metro, encouraging the public to “See It. Change It.” From 26 January to 25 February 2026, 72 posters and 60 window advertisements were displayed on a Bannan Line train. Featuring a “Lonely Elderly in the Corner” IP design, the campaign transforms previously overlooked seniors into gentle and heartwarming moving visuals, bringing greater awareness to the issue during daily commutes.

Public transport is turned into a storytelling platform, inviting the public to extend care and companionship, making it the warmest scenery of this winter.

BWL Taiwan and its distributors jointly donated NT$300,000 to the Andrew Charity Association and sponsored 100 Lunar New Year food boxes, delivering warmth and support to disaster-affected families in Guangfu, Hualien, helping them welcome the Lunar New Year with peace of mind. In addition, nearly 90 BWL members were mobilised to participate in food boxes volunteer services across northern, central, and southern Taiwan. They personally took part in packing rice, canned food, ready-to-eat meals, and daily necessities, turning every act of care into meaningful action.

​Through this chain of compassion, the initiative goes beyond words and delivers warmth and support to families in need. BWL Taiwan continues to leverage corporate strength to connect social resources, ensuring love and hope reach every corner of the community.

BWLHK, as a member of HKDSA, jointly collaborated with the association to co-organise the CSR activity "花花您心思" alongside TWGH’s Rinato Floral Shop, creating floral bouquets for elderly residents aged 65 and above in Sham Shui Po. This initiative allowed BWLHK to actively contribute to the community while supporting HKDSA’s broader mission.

The elderly learnt the sign language for “love”, fostering meaningful connections and inclusivity. 12 volunteers actively engaged in sharing personal stories, and companionship, strengthening social bonds and promoting the well-being of the elderly.

The event concluded with snacks, gifts, and a group photo, providing a warm and joyful experience. Through this initiative, we demonstrated its commitment to creating lasting positive impact for both volunteers and elderly residents.

BWL Hong Kong & Macao has warmly supported Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs), our long-term beneficiary for over 10 years, reinforcing our commitment to the community with a HK$10,000 donation to the TWGHs Charity Raffle event. This contribution is part of our ongoing CSR efforts to promote social welfare and healthcare across Hong Kong.

BWL Indonesia strengthened its commitment to community care and social well-being through a CSR initiative in Bogor, creating meaningful moments through interactive games, a sing-along session, a birthday celebration, and thoughtful gift distribution.

Through this initiative, BWL Indonesia continued to give back by fostering connections, spreading joy, and encouraging meaningful social engagement within the community.

Held at our BWL Leadership Academy, this meaningful team bonding activity combined fun with a sense of social responsibility. Teams were given a set timeframe to "race" through challenges to earn points, converted into their team's budget.

With the budget earned within the limited time, the teams had to plan strategically, prioritise purchases and maximise their resources, making every decision count for good cause.

Groceries and household items purchased during the challenge were donated to Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, supporting individuals with cerebral palsy.

At Boon Lay Drive, our volunteers championed sustainability through food rescue and community redistribution initiatives.

By recovering surplus and "imperfect" vegetables, we helped reduce food waste while redistributing fresh produce to support communities in need.

Together with its members, the team has strengthened community care by distributing “EcoGuard” fire extinguishers to households across HDB estates.

Through heartfelt outreach, the team aimed to provide not only essential safety tools but also engage residents in fire safety education, raising awareness and fostering a culture of warmth and positivity within the community.

“EcoGuard” extinguishers are designed to be compact and practical for easy storage, providing reliable safety support during emergencies and giving residents greater peace of mind.

Through this CSR campaign, it has brought safety and protection to the communities we serve.

As part of its ongoing CSR commitment, BWL Taiwan and its members have partnered with the Professional Animal-Assisted Therapy Association of Taiwan for two consecutive years, donating NT$250,000 to support this initiative, including two special education camps and six rural outreach programmes. In addition, the Association was invited to BWL Taiwan’s three regional service centres to conduct Therapy Dog Parent-Child Experience Days, with a total of three sessions engaging 172 participants.

Through interaction with therapy dogs, participants were able to experience how the animals provide comfort, reduce stress and anxiety, and support emotional well-being. The sessions helped both children and adults better understand how animal-assisted therapy contributes to healing and psychological support in everyday life.

BWL Taiwan and its distributors jointly donated NT$450,000 to support anti-drug education programmes. In addition, BWL Taiwan hosted anti-drug themed parent-child film education events across northern, central, and southern Taiwan. The anti-drug short film “宇裂芯辰”, co-sponsored by BWL, was specially screened at the events.

A total of 125 parents and 127 children participated across the three sessions. Through the film, participants gained a deeper understanding of the dangers of drugs and strengthened awareness of the importance of anti-drug education.

BWL Taiwan and its distributors donated NT$1.23 million in 2025 to the Hong Dao Senior Citizens’ Welfare Foundation to support senior care initiatives. For four consecutive years, BWL Taiwan has organised reunion meal events across Taichung, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung, bringing together 300 underprivileged seniors and volunteers.

Through these meals, volunteer support, and meaningful companionship, BWL helps seniors step out of isolation, reconnect with the community, and experience care and emotional support ahead of the Lunar New Year. The initiative reflects BWL’s ongoing commitment to actively supporting seniors through direct engagement and community involvement.

At BWL Hong Kong & Macao, we believe in turning care into action. We funded HK$10,000 to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) 155th Anniversary Flag Day, supporting underprivileged communities.

This initiative helps strengthen TWGHs’ community services, healthcare, education and social welfare programmes. Together through partnership, we make a meaningful impact to social responsibility, fosters positive change in the communities we serve.

BWL Indonesia supported children from an orphanage in Surabaya through a meaningful CSR initiative focused on strengthening community care and social well-being.

The initiative brought smiles and meaningful connections through interactive activities, shared meals, performances, pizza-making and thoughtful gift-giving.
